With the release of iOS 18, the Apple Wallet app now supports enhanced event tickets, offering more detailed and useful information about events. Following the public launch of iOS 18, Ticketmaster announced on Thursday that it will soon roll out support for these richer tickets in Apple Wallet.

In a blog post, the company stated, “Ticketmaster is the first ticketing company to enable the new, enhanced ticket experience in Apple Wallet.”

With this update, users will have access to key information on their tickets, including a venue map, parking details, recommended Apple Music playlists, weather forecasts for the event day, and a convenient option to share their real-time location with friends during the event.

Ticketmaster collaborated closely with Apple to create this new experience for iOS 18 users. “With the enhanced ticket experience in Apple Wallet, fans are connected to the action from the moment they add their pass to their iPhone,” said Mark Yovich, President of Ticketmaster. “We’re incredibly proud to partner with Apple to bring this elevated ticketing experience to fans.”

The new experience will launch later this month with the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) during their home game at BMO Stadium on Saturday, October 19. iPhone users running iOS 18.0 or later who add their ticket to Apple Wallet via the Ticketmaster or LAFC apps will see the updated more detailed tickets.

Ticketmaster also announced that this enhanced experience will soon be available for Miami HEAT tickets, with additional events expected to be supported in 2025.
