Lightning lane premier pass
Disney has officially announced the Lightning Lane Premier Pass for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, confirming our previous reports. Here are the details for this new skip-the-line option!
In the coming weeks, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will launch a pilot program for a new expedited entry service called the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available in limited quantities and grants guests one-time access to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they visit that day. This includes attractions covered by both the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with the Premier Pass, guests won’t need to choose a specific time for each experience. The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium option, with pricing varying based on the date and park location.
The Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass will remain unchanged.
Walt Disney World’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass
When the Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches at Walt Disney World, it will be available exclusively to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts. Guests can purchase it up to seven days before their stay, with usage limited to a single park of their choice per day. The first available date for this offering is October 30, 2024.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass prices will vary based on the date and theme park. At launch, prices will range from $129 to $449 per pass (plus tax), with the highest rates applying on select peak travel days.
Disneyland’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass
At Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting two days prior to a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both parks. The first available date for this pass is October 23, 2024.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be priced at $400 per person, per day for park visits through December 31, 2024. Starting in 2025, prices will fluctuate between $300 and $400, depending on the date and demand.
